Outreach

PhoneCaption strives to assist the Hard of Hearing members of our community. This effort is sustained through various Outreach efforts that conjoin our passion for supporting these members and the organizations they are affiliated with, as well as our desire to cultivate awareness.

Currently, we hold regular events such as art exhibitions, educational gatherings, wine and cheese networking events, and hold informational seminars about our services. This compilation of efforts allows us to interact with members of the community on a completely personal level by engendering feelings of community and support.

We recently partook in the Hearing Loss Association of America’s Walk4Hearing, which was a most exciting and inspiring event. Our team of walkers marched proudly and upheld avid efforts to raise money for Hearing Loss. Feel free to contact us if you wish to join our team next year for this very important cause.

Our partnership with New York City’s Deaf Council is a segue into the community as well. We often serve as a sponsor for the Deaf Council’s events, and once again, exercise every possible means of interacting with community members.

Our unyielding support stems from a desire to provide members of the Hard of Hearing community an opportunity to achieve functional equivalency. By immersing ourselves in community events, and spearheading events as well, we’ve established a multifaceted Outreach approach that allows us to better understand our users and their desires.
